Burke, 47, is a jazz and folk singer and songwriter as well as web developer and consultant. He received a bachelor’s in theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, a master’s from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas, and a Master of Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. He was an Ignatian Faculty Fellow at Loyola University New Orleans, where he served as an adjunct professor of music technology, and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish.
