International Solidarity

From the moment that St. Ignatius sent his friend St. Francis Xavier to China, India and Japan, the Jesuits have been a religious order that made the world their home. In the following five centuries, Jesuits have spread their works of faith and justice globally thanks to the support of generous benefactors.

The Xavier Network

Today, the international solidarity efforts of the Jesuits are led by mission offices and development organizations that form the Xavier Network, an international mission and development partnership of Jesuit organizations working in faith to promote justice. The 14 mission offices and non-governmental development organizations of Jesuit provinces across Europe, North America and Australia that make up this network are united by a simple principle: by joining together we can achieve more.

American Jesuits International

American Jesuits International is the international solidarity organization of the Society of Jesus in the United States. We are committed to working with individuals and institutions to support Jesuit education and development initiatives in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. We believe that our Ignatian values call us to build a world in which the dignity of each person is respected, human rights are protected, creation is cared for, and all people thrive.
